A Bit Long

The No Kings Rally on October 18th promises to be huge. And it’s one of those “more the merrier” kind of events. If you can make one of the roughly 2,500 events around the country, please do. (You can find the ones closest to you here).

A Bit Long was suggested by a friend. He joked that he was going to bring a sign to his No Kings Rally that read pretty much like the one mentioned in the strip. Hopefullly he’s happy with the result. And hopefully he’s taking a shorter sign.

While checking out the very creative signs at these events is a lot of fun, the rallies really do matter . Trump and his minions will get away with what he can. And they’d rather we didn’t notice. These peaceful demonstrations let them know they can’t hide. They also buck up people of all political stripes who know the right thing to do is to speak up, but don’t want to be out on the proverbial limb alone. Precarious positions like company.

So, again, if you can I hope you’ll attend one of the rallys. Just make sure your sign is easy to read. I recommend short messages; large letters.
