In the past few years, Vance has so distanced himself from anything remotely related to Truth that it’s not surprising they’ve chosen to go their separate ways.What’s amazing is that Truth didn’t divorce him sooner, given his obvious disdain for her.

Here’s how Vance justified falsely accusing Haitians in Ohio of eating their neighbors’ pets. “If I have to create stories so that the American media actually pays attention to the suffering of the American people, then that’s what I’m going to do.” So lying is OK if it scores political points. Got it.

And Vance has continued his deceitful ways ever since. I suppose it’s too much to expect someone who has sold his soul to such an abhorrent excuse for a human as Trump, to be honest. Ever. But it would be a welcome surprise.

Instead, we get him claiming to see no evidence that Trump is corrupt. Justice is blind, but she can see what Trump’s doing. The American people can see what Trump’s doing. Vance has seen it, too, but feigns ignorance.

About the Biblical grounds reference: the Bible says “Thou shall not lie,” or something along those lines. And I figure if it worked for Mrs. Paxton, it would work for Truth, too.

Truth Files Divorce From Vance is a tragedy in that Vance could have been an honorable man and chose not to be. But for Truth there’s a happy ending to the story. She saw, well, herself, and it set her free.

P.S. After finishing this Sketchier, I heard that Vance attacked the Democratic candidate for Governor of Ohio for being the subject of an obscene attack ad against her. So not only is he divorced from the truth, he’s indecent, soulless, and unworthy of any role in government or civil society. He should be ashamed and shunned.
