An Apology

It’s not like we didn’t know. 2024 was Trump’s third presidential campaign. We witnessed his first term. His lifetime was spent grifting, lying, and caring for no one but himself and his ever-so-precious ego.

We elected the sociopath anyway. And for that Americans should offer An Apology to the world. If four cartoon characters can, certainly the rest of us can as well. Not surprisingly, they speak for me.

P.S. The legal counsel here at Sketchier HQ have asked me to note that my calling Trump a sociopath is not meant as a medical or clinical diagnosis. That would take a qualified professional. I am using sociopath in its everyday use as describing “someone who lacks empathy and disregards others’ well-being for personal gain.”

This is similar to when I state Trump is demented, is what Bugs Bunny would call a “maroon,” is dishonest, and a danger to the world who should be removed from office by the invocation of the 25th Amendment or impeachment. These aren’t descriptions made in a professional capacity. They are just the obvious characteristics of the idiot we elected president.
