He Earned It

Greg Bovino is a disgrace. To law enforcement. To the country. To humanity. The list goes on. He’s even a disgrace to the Border Patrol, which is saying something.

His arrogant Nazi-esque preening finally proved too much even for the Trump Administration. Not because they disapproved, but because of the optics. He played into the public perception that the Orange Orbán and his minions had gone too far. Bovino had to go and he’s going.

Here’s the optics and, more significantly, that coat:

Bovino was the Commander at Large for the Border Patrol. He led their invasion of Los Angeles, Chicago, and, most recently, Minneapolis. He talked tough. He strutted. He lied. And he admitted to it after a judge came to that conclusio.

Rumor has it he’ll be retiring soon. Which means the bidding war between Fox News, Newsmax and One America News Network should be gearing up soon. Because when you’re a disgrace, that’s where you go.

So yeah, he’ll keep the coat. After all, He Earned It.
