The worse things get for Trump, the worse things are likely to get for America and democracy. Given how bad things are for Trump these days, how he will respond is more than a legitimate cause of concern. As Nuances notes, he may do away with elections altogether, or tilt the playing field beyond the breaking point. Then again, he may not have to do more than let the shameful Roberts Court do the dirty work. Nothing nuanced going on there.
